Cheering Our Olympic Athletes with an All-American Beer

Queue the music and light the torch! The 2016 Olympics have arrived and at the Yukon Tavern we’re celebrating with our great domestic beers!

Yukon - Olympic

We love the great craft beers made right here in the Pacific Northwest, but sometimes the moment calls for a tried and true domestic. We have all the great standard bearer beers on tap and we’re ready for one of the most perfect moments to enjoy the classics: the 31st Olympic Games in Rio!

Pabst Blue Ribbon

PBR is the beer for the workingman. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, its mellow taste is perfect for an after work break.

Budweiser’s Bud Light

When you think American beer it’s hard not to think about Budweiser’s Bud Light. It’s the beer you shared with your dad after a day of yard work. It’s the beer you drank on Saturday night with your friends. It’s the beer you still turn to for its mellow flavor profile.

Lagunitas

This might not be the first American beer you think of, but if you give it a try you’ll have to agree it’s one of the best. We carry three different beers made by Lagunitas Petaluma Brewing;

Lagunitas IPA – This is the IPA that first put Laguntas on the brewing map. It’s well-rounded and has a rich caramel, malt, barley taste.

Aunt Sally – This sweet, tart and sour mash ale will remind you of those pies your grandma used to make.

A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ – Hoppy and wheaty, this beer goes down with a smooth and silky finish.

Yukon - Leaderboard

This month cheer on your favorite Olympians with us at the Yukon Tavern in Southeast Portland, and check out our up-to-date leaderboard to see what other great beers we feature on our twelve rotating taps.
