Instructor Tina McDaniel has captured the beauty of nature in a photograph she calls “Poppies,” and she’ll use it as our common focus to take us on an art odyssey for two hours. Leading us through the processes she uses to create her masterpieces.
Art has always been a big part of McDaniel’s life and she’s perfected her craft through college and afterwards in art classes she continues to regularly attend. She’s picked the Yukon to hold this event for its atmosphere and the inspiration provided by its long history as one of Portland’s oldest bars.
“The Yukon Tavern is a great place for this type of event.
It’s a quaint, iconic bar with a long history of
friends gathering to share a drink and some conversation.”
– Tina McDaniel
The Yukon Tavern will be hosting the Vine and Pallet event on Sunday, August 28th from 3-6pm.
