Vine and Pallet is back this month at the Yukon Tavern!
This Sunday, April 9th, Tina McDaniels and Vine and Pallet return to the Yukon after a month off. Along with her assistant Deana, McDaniels will be leading us through every step of the process of painting a beautiful desert and river landscape similar to that of Easter Oregon. Unlike many artist-led painting events, McDaniels takes a more in-depth approach and teaches the craft of painting, rather than a “paint by numbers” approach.
Tina and Deana will have all the supplies—canvas, brushes, paints, and aprons—ready for you when you arrive, and our bartender and Yukon kitchen will be ready to keep your drinks full and serve you great food.
I have been to several Vine and Pallet events held at the Yukon and each time I come away with a great painting that I am proud to hang on wall. McDaniels has a long history of teaching her craft to all levels of experienced and inexperienced artists. She is self-taught and has shown her paintings around Portland, as well as having teaching experience in formal studio settings, as well as informal places like our bar.
If you are looking for a relaxing afternoon out at a friendly neighborhood bar join us this Sunday, April 9th from 3-6pm at the Yukon Tavern for Vine and Pallet’s monthly painting event, and come away with a beautiful painting of your very own!
